Why was the web site down today?

You may have noticed that we were knocked "off the air" for about eight hours on Thursday.

Our hosting company, which is usually pretty good, claimed they could not help us so it was necessary, at great expense, to hire an outside programmer at emergency rates to get things running again.

We're still trying to understand what happened and will keep you posted.

A down day like this reduces the already minimal income the site generates to cover its bills.

If you're inclined to help, we could use some help paying today's programmer's bill. Every little bit helps a lot.

Nixon wanted to nuke Vietnam

Nixon, an absolutely psychotic madman, was president of the United States. Meanwhile, Henry Kissinger is still traveling the think-tank circuit, trying in vain to distance himself from the murder of 2 million Vietnamese people. Despite brave voices, like that of Ellsberg, it's hard to say that common sense will prevent the Betlway from continuing to patronize Kissinger's Rockefeller-empire-employee worldview.
