Someone must have forgotten to send UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown the memo to go easy on the "New World Order" schtick.
Perhaps he wanted to show the people who actually put him in power that he's onboard.
Or maybe he just said "F*** it. We don't need to hide any more."
At the end of this excerpt, Brown quotes George Bush Sr. speech from 16 years earlier verbatim: "A new world order is emerging..."
The newspaper headline at the every end is priceless:
