January 16th marked the 96th anniversary of Prohibition.

Many of us cannot imagine an America where alcohol was outlawed. Everyone from the laboring class to the elites enjoyed then and now the pleasant buzz of alcohol, so how did it ever become illegal in the first place?

The Women's Christian Temperance Movement was a steady force working towards the prohibition of alcohol, but only when good ole' Rockefeller decided to team up with the group did they actually reach their goal.
