Torture is just not traditionally American
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. absolutely destroys this CIA lawyer's argument that torture was the correct tactic to use in the post-911 environment.
With historical references to many famous historical US officials including Lincoln and Washington denouncing the practice of torture, there's little this lawyer can come back with.
The US has maintained a legacy of not torturing their prisoners from the Cold War back.
