But many charges will go unmade
So rape is no big deal, right?
Wrong. Absolutely wrong. But apparently the Houston police force didn’t think so, as they left thousands of rape kits untested, presumably letting these violent criminals run free.
They are finally being slowly addressed, but the statute of limitation has run up on many of the decades old cases.
The worst part is, Houston isn’t the only place that has this problem…
