I like science and some of my favorite people are scientists, but...

These people really need to be kept under control. Seriously.

Not all "advances" are good and as much as I admire Arthur C. Clarke, some of the things he proposes in this short talk are downright looney and scary.

Whatever happened to respect for nature? How about plumbing the depths of nature first, really understanding how it works it all its intricacy, before messing with it?

Clearly this is a message that is being lost.

GMO "foods" are a classic example. The toxic (and useless) products of Big Pharma are another example.
