Powdered alcohol is the latest trend in drinks. The idea is that alcohol should be easy to transport and provide quick intoxication.

One problem with this suddenly popular idea: it is completely pointless.

Since the powdered alcohol is simply powdered and not dehydrated or condensed in any way, it's no more portable than the liquid stuff.

This is yet another case of a great idea the dopey news media could not see through.
