Powerful favoritism on Israel's side

Palestine has asked to become a member of the International Criminal Court, a move which would possibly allow them some defense against Israel for war crimes against their people.

Palestine has accused Israel of intentionally targeting civilian locations in their attacks, a tactic that is considered an international crime.

Their resolution to join was rejected by the UN council, falling short by one single vote.

Who voted no? The United States and Australia.
