It is hard to know who to believe or take seriously in the media rampage that has been the coverage of the recent shooting in Paris.

Tariq Ramadan of Oxford University, as a professor of Islamic studies at Oxford University, should be able to give us a fair and unbiased perspective on this situation if anyone can.

We will let Ramadan speak for himself, as among other double standards, he points out the fact that 12 lives in France sparks an international outrage while the loss of hundreds of lives in the Middle East every day receives no such attention.
