Denying basic representation rights
A hundred year old piece of legislation stating that the US territories are inhabited by “alien races” who can’t understand “Anglo-Saxon” principles continues to keep people in the US-territory islands from being able to vote.
The US-citizens of Guam, Puerto Rice, Northern Mariana, US Virgin Islands and American Samoa have virtually no voice in the federal government which towers over them, and they do not share sovereignty as official states do.
When will these full-blooded Americans be given the right to have a voice in their own government?
