I keep coming across reasonably intelligent. reasonably informed people who don't have the first clue about W*k* Leaks origins, history and operating methods.
For example, as in the case of the Tea Party, W*k* Leaks got its start from the help of a real player, John Young of cryptome.org, who dropped out in less than a month because he was suspicious of the group's real motives. (Karl Denninger, one of the founders of the Tea Party, quit one month after that organization started for the same reasons.)
