By addling digital locks, denying access to manuals and schematics, as well as fair market access to diagnostic tools, the digital industry claims universal property rights you thought were yours.

Last year an organization called The Digital Right to Repair Coalition was created to push legislation in Congress to allow cell phone unlocking. "Fair Repair" bills haven been passed in New York and Minnesota: and in Massachusetts, a "Digital Right to Repair" bill.
