Finishing off New Orleans
First, the Army Corps of Engineers allowed the levee system to fall into disrepair and then fail catastrophically killing at least 1,800 people immediately (and many more later as the result of trauma) and damaging or destroying 80% of the city.
Then FEMA "delivered" emergency services a week late and actively interfered - sometimes at gunpoint - with anyone who was willing and able to act faster.
Finally, the Bush Administration tied up the distribution of rebuilding funds so tight that two and a half years later, less than 50% of it has been distributed.
Now this...
What the Corps and FEMA failed to accomplish, the New World Order is going to finish: the economic strangling of New Orleans and its biggest industry.
