Criminals protecting criminals
I hardly know what to say.
This man - "Cookie" Krongard - is charged with making sure that private contractors in Iraq operate legally.
One of these companies, Blackwater, has killed countless innocent civilians, been implicated in black market arms dealings in the country, and has billed the US untold millions for its "services."
Not only has Krongard not audited or investigated misbehavior on the part of contractors in Iraq, he's also actively interfered with investigations of them.
It gets even more amazing. Krongard's brother serves on Blackwater's advisory board and as it that wasn't enough Krongard blatantly lied about this fact before Congress - and it's all on video.
What does it take for the moronic 25% of Americans who support Bush to wake up and realize they're supporting a criminal enterprise?
And when are the handcuffs going to be put on this guy?
